TASTING NOTES Aromas of dark chocolate, blackberries and cassis. Flavors of wild berries, sweet oak and black pepper. Full bodied profile with coarse tannins, a complex palate and broad mouthfeel. Already quite approachable but has the acidity and tannins to age very nicely. 2013 was one of the best vintages California has seen! Warm days and cool nights yielded wines with ripe flavors, ample structure and vibrant acidity.
