TASTING NOTES Aromas of mocha, black cherry and tobacco. Flavors of dark fruits, vanilla and spice, Deep, dark purple in color. Full bodied with coarse tannins and a rich mouthfeel. The finish is long and smooth. Already quite approachable but has the acidity and tannins to age very nicely.

Rich and deep with plum; elegant spice and soft herbs; toasty and complex; lush and long. – A.D.B.

Cellar Selection Rich flavors of blackberry jam, cassis and toasty oak mark this dry, tannic young Cab. It’s not showing much subtlety or grace, but that may be a function of youth. Give it six years and see what it does.—S.H. (10/1/2013)
